The charger feels sturdy and well-constructed. Since my mother only has to bring the charger out when my sister visits her, the included carry case is very useful for her to store the charger in the garage when it's not needed. According to my brother in law, the charger provides a steady 3KW charge that tops up the battery much faster than he expected for a portable unit but of course, it is nowhere near as fast as his wallbox at home. This charger removes the stress of finding public stations for top-ups. It is a practical, tough, and efficient tool that does exactly what it promises without any unnecessary complications.

As you should expect for a 3-pin plug version, 3kW is not the fastest speed and is why these are often called 'granny chargers'. But for my 60kWh Renault Megane, overnight it does a good enough job.

Really useful bit of kit to keep in the car for emergencies or when you don’t have access to a proper wall charger. It‘s compact enough and feels reasonably well made, plus the carry case is a nice touch.
As expected from this type of charger, it’s not the fastest out there, so you won‘t want to rely on it for regular charging unless you’ve got plenty of time. That said, it does the job when you need it.

Having a longer charging cable makes a noticeable difference and this version gives much more flexibility when the socket is not close to the car. The 10 metre length is especially useful when parking positions vary as it easily reaches without needing to reposition the vehicle.

The cable can deliver up to 3 kilowatts of charging power and charges at 13amps. This variant of the charger is 5 meters which is enough length to charge the car up in my garage or a short way into the driveway and it works well even for outdoors charging where I am unable to easily find a charger. The charger is easy to use with a simple and minimal user interface. It's great to have a small portable carry-on in your car at all times.
